Canadian law states, “An air carrier shall not transport a passenger if the passenger does not appear to be of the gender indicated on the identification he or she presents.” This means that airlines can turn a trans* person away from getting on a flight in Canada. Sign this petition to stand up to the Canadian government and tell them you disagree with this.

this legislation doesn’t only affect trans people. it affects anyone whose gender presentation and/or identity doesn’t fit within hegemonic gender binaries. way to go canada.
